Additional Information   Contributors Great Uncle. Alec Cairns a member of Lisburn Mechanics L.O.L. 557. Joined the 4th Canadian Infantry from Lisburn, signed up very young probably 16 or 17. Alec was killed in action in the second battle of Eppe, probably died in hospital from his wounds. Family visited his Grave in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery for the 100 Anniversary, they wished they had asked more questions when younger about the Family History.
