Additional Information   "This rifle was brought in on the Clyde, as part of the UVF gun-running. My father died in October there and we cleared out his attic and came across the rifle. I had never seen it, but he showed it to a couple of grandsons. The police were able to authenticate it as an antique, they didn’t need to decommission it, its safe to be transported. The UVF stamp on it here- and there’s a battalion stamp on it. My granda was a farmer in Fermanagh in 1913, he would have been in the UVF. He never went off to war though. He was in the Lodge and I think he was a B Special. (bayonet which was brought along with rifle was confirmed as a French bayonet- Volunteers machined French bayonets to fit their rifles when they had lost their own). "
